Croomie’s mission is to bring the benefits of blockchain technology to mass audiences through gamified experiences. Described by media publishers as “The new Habbo on the blockchain”, Croomies allows players to create their own virtual rooms, socialize with other players, build, design and play games, buy, trade, collect and sell virtual furniture as NFTs. Almost anything is possible in Croomies’s world!

True ownership of all digital assets is the core value proposition of the game and it has been possible thanks to the use of blockchain technology. Croomies is based on the EOS.IO blockchain software. Yes, all our NFTs are on the EOS mainnet!

Gameplay

Free to play

Croomies is a free to play massive multiplayer online game, where you will find a vast universe of virtual rooms. You will be able to play games, complete quests, chat and win prizes without having to pay anything! It’s not another “blockchain scam game” where you need to pay for NFTs in order to start playing.

Rooms

Create your croomie and start building and designing your own virtual rooms. Meet other croomies, make “roomies” and never stop having fun!

Decos

Furniture and decorations, more commonly called “Furni” or “Decos” are virtual items that may be used in Croomies World to design and customize your virtual rooms. Decos come in many different styles and each one serves unique purposes to create a great ‘virtual life’ experience ingame. You will be able to swim in pools, lay on beds, dance, play games, cultivate your own crops, craft items…

There are two groups of value with decos. The first group is known as normal decos. Those virtual items are the least expensive one in the game (depending on the rarity) as they are usually bought in the catalogue. 

The second group is known as “Rares”. Those are “NFT decos” and are the most expensive ones of the game. They are bought with EOS tokens in the marketplace and allow players to earn real life money trading and selling them.

Different decos can have different rarities (which are listed below) depending on how much of the asset was bought, if it was limited, how many are still ingame, and what is the current value to the players of the game.

Normal decos

Normal decos are those virtual goods that are sold in the game’s catalogue and are easily at low costs to anyone. Some of them are exclusive to members of the Croomies Club. Most normal decos cost from 1 to 50 ingame coins.

NFT Rares

Rare decos, or Deco NFTs, are special furniture that can be bought in the marketplace. They live in the blockchain, so players are real “owners” of those items, as they are purchased and transferred to their EOS wallets. Deco NFTs are usually listed for a limited time and most of them have a limited amount of mints. Depending on that, there are some different rarities that may increase the price of those assets.

Rarities

Every NFT has a rarity, which normally depends on how difficult it is to find that Deco/Style/Pet ingame, it’s also linked to the base price.

These are the current rarities in Croomies:

Common: Easily found ingame. Unlimited stock.

Uncommon: Found ingame with some difficulties. Unlimited stock.

Limited: Not very hard to see ingame. Limited stock.

Epic: Hard to see ingame. Very limited stock.

Legendary: Extremely rare assets that are incredibly highly valued by the community.

Acquiring decos

Furniture and decorations can be acquired by purchasing them with Croomies’s ingame coins, winning games, participating in events, trading with other players for their decos or by buying them in the marketplace.

Trading

Trading is an essential part of Croomies. Players are allowed to trade in-game items. You can negotiate with other players to arrange a trade. If the item is a NFT, players will need to deposit the NFT in croomiesdapp account first to be able to trade it. Fees are not applied while trading ingame.

Trading is really easy, you just need to click on the player’s character you wish to trade with, and then just click on the little button that says “Trade”. Some rooms don’t allow trading, so if you want to trade with other players, just move to a room that allows it.

Once the trade screen is opened, you can select the decos you want to trade in your inventory and move them into the empty boxes of the trading window. The other player will do the same. When you’re happy with the trade, click accept and you will have to wait for some seconds until the trade is successfully completed. The delay is a system feature to stop scamming, so that you can confirm that the items being traded are the right ones. Then you can confirm the trade by clicking the confirm button and the new items will be in your inventory!

Marketplace

The Marketplace is where you will be able to buy Deco NFTs using EOS tokens safely while avoiding scams and the hassle of finding offers ingame. It allows everyone to list their NFTs assets for sale or put them for auction, and on the other side, it allows users to buy and bid on NFTs.

One of the best features of Croomies’s Marketplace is that sellers keep ownership of their NFT until the asset is sold.

If you put your deco NFT for sale, you don’t have to transfer it to the marketplace’s account, as is the case for other famous nft marketplaces. Croomies’s marketplace uses a special trade offer feature: when you list a NFT for sale, a trade offer is sent to the marketplace Smart Contract, and the offer is only accepted when another player buys the asset.

This means that you can list your NFTs for sale in the marketplace, and you will still be able to continue using it in the game, or other dapps until it is sold.

You will usually list an asset for USD prices, to avoid the volatility of the crypto currencies. When someone buys your asset, the amount of EOS tokens that you will receive is calculated at the time or purchase thanks to delphioracle Smart Contract, which provides a real time, decentralized price oracle.

Low base fees

The base fee for sales and auctions is only 3% which goes to the marketplace’s account and allows us to improve the game by developing new and exciting features.

Collections and Drops

The Croomie’s team is working hard to bring lots of variety to the game. We will frequently bring new collections to the marketplace. Stay tuned on our news page or twitter account to be the first to know which collection will be next!

We will announce drops often, some of them will be surprises, and others will be announced just a few hours before the drop starts, so you will need to be fast in order to get your NFT, since most of them will have a limited amount of mints.

Styles

One of the most fancy features of the game is the ability to choose from many options of available clothes, accessories, hairstyles and colors to customize your own Croomie. 

Pets 

Pets are entities in the game that can be bought by players and are highly interactive. Players can place their pets in any of their rooms. If the owner of another virtual room allows it, you will be able to have a walk with your pet and explore net worlds with your companion. 

Croomie’s Club

Club (Also known as “Croomies Club”) is a membership program that provides players with extra perks and features in the game. The cost of being a member of the club is 50 coins for 1 month.

Some of the advantages of being a Club member are: accessing Club exclusive rooms, unique badges, extra clothes and monthly rare gifts (including NFTs). 

The fact that players get a Free NFT gift for being a member of the Club is unique to Croomies and sets it apart from other blockchain Games.

Croomie’s ingame Coin

Coins (also known as credits) is the main ingame currency. Credits are used to buy decos, membership for Croomies club and many other things. You can purchase them on the website with EOS tokens or by using a variety of different services, such as Paypal or credit card.
